Gingerbread contest ideas?

I’m entering a gingerbread house decorating contest in two weeks, and I’m wondering if anyone has any unique ideas for themes for my gingerbread house. It has to be in the basic shape of a house (doesn’t necessarily have to be decorated like a house though), and everything used in it must be edible. You can decorate it however you want, with whatever you want. I was thinking maybe making the gingerbread house look like a log cabin, using pretzel sticks for the logs and such. Any other ideas?
